#10 — Adequate Handwashing Sinks, Properly Supplied and AccessiblePriority foundation5-205.11

Inspector's notes

Observed the hand sink to the sampling cart turned off at the time of inspection. PIC stated they had turned off the hand sink about 30 minutes prior to inspection since they had cooked their last batch of food for sampling. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. Advised PIC that while the cart is in operation and serving foods to customers that the hand sink should be left on. PIC turned on the sink at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
