Observed food debris on the backside of the blade of the deli slicer stored on the counter in the back prep area. After discussion with the person in charge it was determined the slicer was not used today. Food equipment shall be clean to sight and touch to avoid any possible contamination or pests. Person instructed food employee to properly clean and sanitize the slicer at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
