Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. Open jars of peanut butter, jelly, bowls of dried fruit and nuts stored without sneeze guard protection. Employee moved items under a sneeze guard. Large mouth jars of peanut butter and jelly are available with the spreading knives stored in the product, allowing for customer self-dispensing and possible contamination if the knives are used for spreading on bread from which a bite has already been taken. Discussed using individual portions of peanut butter and jelly.

Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. Employee cleaning and wearing dishwashing glove on one hand put on a glove on the other hand and began to handle food without washing hands. Had employee wash hands. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks.
