Inspector's notes

Observed low temperature dish machine that measured 0ppm with chlorine test strips. After several attempts to prime the machine, the machine still tested 0ppm. The person in charge called for service at time of inspection. The person in charge instructed staff to use 3 compartment sink until unit can be repaired. Discussed with the person in charge that the dish machine should test between 50-100ppm with chlorine test strips. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Provided PIC with the Maricopa County Environmental Health Division guidance document for creating a vomit and diarrhea cleanup plan. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes

Observed handwashing sink on the gelato side of the facility with no hand washing cleanser available. Per PIC, the soap dispenser had broken off of the wall recently. PIC provided soap for handwash sink at time of inspection. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. 6-301.14 - Core: Handwashing Signage.
