After making the protein bowl, observed the food worker pick up a piece of banana that fell onto the floor, take a customer order, touch their cell phone, and without washing their hands put on gloves and begin assembling a freeze bowl.

Staff did not ask the customer if the dog was a service animal. Live animals are prohibited on premises of food establishment, with the exception of fish in aquariums, shellfish, and service animals. The customer left with the dog on their own. Reviewed ADA guidelines for service animals and provided handout. Please train staff regarding prohibiting non-service dogs in establishment .
