Inspector's notes
Observed front door, which leads to the entrance of the main kitchen, to be opened and left ajar at time of inspection. No air curtain was installed at time of inspection. PIC closed the front door at time of inspection. Discussed the importance of maintaining all outer openings closed, and with tightly fitted doors to prevent pest harborage conditions. Establishment must have solid, self-closing, tight-fitting doors. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. 6-501.111 (A-B, D) - Core: Controlling Pests; Monitoring Addl Notes: Observed flies (10+) coming into the kitchen space from the open door at the front entrance to the kitchen. PIC was able to present active pest control invoices dated 1/27/2026 at time of inspection. Discussed the importance of eliminating pest harborage conditions with PIC. PIC has another pest control servicing planned for the end of the month. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
