School Food ServiceFinal construction inspection was conducted with the superintendent, Harold Saint Lawrence. Construction of the new school buildings has been completed. However, the backflow preventer at the hose reel had not been installed. The kitchen can open for school food serice. Will schedule a final walk-through once all items are completed.Permit is approved.Please address the following items prior to the final walk-through:1. Provide a pressure vacuum breaker (ASSE 1020) for the hose reel with sprayer attachment at the can wash area. Install the unit 12 inches from water connection point of the hose reel. Certify the device and provide report.2. Ensure chemical dispensers at mop sinks are connected downstream from the backflow preventer provided at the site. Do not use the hose of the mop sink for this purpose or connect Y-valve downstream from the mop sink’s faucet.3. Noted one of the refrigerators at the food service line has condensation liquid running onto the floor. Please check the evaporative pan to ensure it is working. Repair/ replace as needed.4. The establishment can stock cold and dry products.The walk-in freezer is not working at the time of inspection. At this time, do not stock frozen products. Noted there are frozen foods thawing inside the walk-in cooler. Do not put the slacked frozen boxes back into the walk-in freezer.Please address the following items prior to the final construction inspection:1.
