Final construction inspection walk through conducted with the superintendent. The following items will be addressed before opening:1). There are three small leaks, one at the water softener, one at the water filter and one at the release valve in front of the water heater. Please repair.2). Secure the ice machine drain at the hand sink in the kitchen and make sure it lines up with the floor sink drain grate opening.3). The soda valve is releasing water, please have the valve serviced by the tester that certified it.4). Three compartment sink drain will be lined up with the drain grate opening.5) Under drive through soda counter, see if you can mount the transformers higher and get the electric wiring and soda lines off the floor so the floor can be easily cleaned.6). Under front counter in the soda drain coves, mount all wiring off the floor.7). For the food pass through counter, please seal the gaps at the side junctures with the wall and on the underside wall counter where open. Both sides.8). One of the drive through reach in units is not working, please replace or repair.9). Two of the refrigeration units in the kitchen do not work because the power is out.10). Please see if you can tighten up the lines under the dish washer so you can get a mop under the machine.11). Provide a backflow valve on the mop sink faucet.12) An escutcheon will be provided for the one water line to the side of the water heater, the extra escutcheon can be or moved to the ceiling and cut in place or removed. 13). Penetrations through the walk-in cooler and freezer for the security system will be sealed up.This establishment/operation has been evaluated and qualifies for the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, meaning issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Second walk through of the Chick Fil A with the superintendent. Finishes are complete. The following items were discussed:1. Provide a Reduced Pressure Zona Backflow valve or valve meeting plumbing standard ASSE 1013 RP upstream of:a). Soda system water connection;b). the Mister System;c). The RO system;d). The rethermalizer. -2. Provide ASSE 1022 dual check valve for tea and coffee brewers.3. Re-thermalizer will have a quick disconnect and drain hose and will not be plumbed in.4). High windows are partially caulked in the collar / window frame and will be finished and joints sealed.5). Discussed flashing of equipment at he pass through counter and sealing stainless steel counters in between.6). Base tile will be sealed to the underside of the cabinets throughout.7). Wall penetrations around chase lines will be finished out smooth and easily cleanable, if FRP is cut wide at outlets, caulk.8). Please caulk the hoods, horizontal joint- on top between flue collar and hood.At time of final please make sure you have hot water, all equipment is in, refrigeration units ate holding temperature and the that backflow valves have been tested.No county legal action will result from the inspection.E-mailed inspection.

Stopped by the site which is on the NE corner of Roosevelt Street and Estrella Parkway. Met up with superintendent and he already had the stipulation letter and first inspection was done by Anne. Plumbing inspection conducted with site superintendent, Matt.At the time of this inspection, this project was about 20% complete. Inspection report was emailed to Matt.Prior to final:1. Provide ASSE 1013 RP upstream of carbonators, RO, and rethermalizer as discussed. Plans did not note backflow for re-thermalizer.2. Provide ASSE 1022 dual check valve for tea and coffee, not 1024's as plans note.3. Provide rigid drain lines for all equipment including re-thermalizer. Must be rigid with 1 inch air gap above floor sinks.4. All paint in restrooms and FOH must be semi or high gloss as discussed.5. All plumbing downstream of RO system must be pex or plastic, including fittings and stub outs.Please continue with construction according to plans, stipulation letter, and inspections.
