Flex BarFinal construction inspection was conducted with the superintendent, Shane H. and project manager, Oscar F. Construction has been completed.The establishment can use the new equipment.Please address the following items prior to the final walk-through:1. Stock all hand sinks with soap and paper towels.2. Provide strainers to all floor sinks.3. Provide an elbow for any drainpipe missing it. Ensure there is 1” air gap from the end of the drainpipe to the top of the floor.4. Provide rigid drainpipes (PVC or equal) for drains from drain trough at the bar. Route the drainpipes to the nearest floor sink with minimum 1” air gap from the finished floor.5. Box around all floor sinks inside cabinets to prevent trash from falling under the cabinet space.6. Provide metal cove base on metal cabinet bases. Schluter dielex can be used for this purpose. Seal the bottom of the cove base to the floor. Rubber base on metal base is not acceptable as the rubber base will fall off once the glue is dried.7. Provide hot water well or dipper well if ice cream will be served in the bar.No County legal action will result from this inspection. Flex Bar_E&D, class 2 10+Construction was conducted with the superintend, Shane H. and project manager, Oscar F. Construction of the bar is at 80% completion. Please address the following items prior to the final construction inspection:1. Provide rigid drainpipes for all drainpipes from work/ dump sink, dipper wells, drip trays and drain troughs. 2. All equipment with direct water connection must be provided with the approved backflow preventer based on the level of hazard.3. Backflow preventers must be installed in a visible, easily accessible for service, monitor and maintenance and not laying on the surface of the countertop. Recommend mounting these on the walls where they are not obstructed by the equipment. 4. Provide 3/8” radius cove base at walls / cabinet base and floor junctures. Use metal cove base, or slim foot cove tiles along metal cabinet base. 5. Grout must be at the same level with tiles or floor.6. Certify all testable backflow devices and provide reports.7. Caulk and seal all gaps, astragals, cracks and penetrations throughout.8. Provide escutcheon plates around all pipe penetrations.9. Provide door sweep, weather stripping at all exterior doors. 10. Exterior doors and restrooms’ doors must be self-closing.No County legal action will result from this inspection.
