Observed self-serve soda nozzles in dining area with buildup of organic matter within the multi-toggle soda dispenser. The person in charge (PIC) was informed that all food-contact surfaces must be cleaned to sight and touch. Suggested staff to use a soft bristle brush to clean behind the nozzle. PIC relocated all food-contact surfaces to warewashing area to be washed, rinsed, and sanitized at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. 4-602.11 (E) - Core: Equipment Food - Contact Surfaces and Utensils-Frequency; Non-TCS. Repeat Violation Observed a sprayer nozzle attached to a hose installed downstream of the AVB faucet head of the mop sink. The PIC was informed that shut-offs, including chemical dispensers and sprayer nozzles, are not approved for continuous installation downstream from atmospheric vacuum breakers. 2nd consecutive violation. The PIC was offered a long-term intervention visit for the pattern of noncompliance but declined. Corrective action: Corrected at the time of inspection. PRIORITY VIOLATION-5-205.12 (A) - Priority: Prohibiting a Cross Connection; Drinking Lines
