Inspector's notes

Observed employee at cooks line touch trash can. Employee then put on gloves and began food prep. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks. PIC instructed employee to wash hands. Employee washed hands at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes

Observed numerous flies at the bar during the inspection. Establishment must be maintained free of pests and all pest control measures must be conducted by a licensed pest control specialist. Must eliminate current pest control problem and obtain pest control from a certified and licensed pest control specialist by re-inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection 09/29/25.

No certified food protection manager observed onsite at time of inspection. A Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) is required to be on the premises during all hours of operation. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Inspector's notes

Noted the testable backflow preventer for the soda carbonator is located behind the bag and box shelving unit and higher than 60 inches from the finished floor. All backflow preventers must be installed at least 12 inches above but not more than 60 inches above the finished floor and in a location that is easily accessible and visible for service and monitoring. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection. 5-205.15 (B) - Core: System Maintained in Good Repair; Maintained Addl Notes: Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection. Provide a vented dual check valve at the water connection point of the coffee/ tea brewer. All water connect, non-carbonated beverage dispensers must have an approved backflow device such as an inline dual check meeting ASSE 1022 standards. The establishment has a mister system on the roof. Cannot verify if the water connection point of the mister system has an approved backflow preventer at this water line. Provide an ASSE 1013 approved backflow device (reduced pressure zone assembly) at the water connection point of this unit if one had not been installed. Please provide prior to re-inspection. All testable backflow devices must be certified annually and after a repair. Maintain record on file for inspection purposes. Non testable backflow devices must be replaced annually or whenever they leak.
