Observed a hose with a spray nozzle connected at the mop sink downstream of the atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB) with the hot water faucet turned on. AVBs must not be maintained under pressure when not in use to prevent formation of a cross-connection. Person in charge (PIC) disconnected spray nozzle and turned water faucet off to correct during inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
