Inspector's notes
No hot water at hand washing sink. The 3 compartment sink was supplied with hot water. PIC was not sure why the hot water faucet was not dispensing hot water at the handwashing sink. PIC stated that they will have the sink serviced prior to re-inspection. A handwashing sink shall be equipped to provide water at a temperature of at least 100*F. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection. 5-205.11 - Priority Foundation: Using a Handwashing Sink-Operation and Maintenance. For a permanent fix to this violation, check out these simple tools in our Active Managerial Control Toolbox, made especially for you. https://www.maricopa.gov/4573/AMC-Toolbox: Handwashing. Addl Notes: Hand washing sink not accessible at time of inspection. There were multiple items stored inside the sink including a fan, kitchenware and test strips. Handwashing sinks shall be maintained so accessible at all time. Informed the PIC that employees are likely to practice good handwashing habits when handwashing sink is easily accessible. All items were moved and the sink was cleared at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
