Inspector's notes

Observed PIC moving between taking money, using their phone, making juices, pouring drinks, and wiping down surfaces and equipment with a dry rag without stopping to handwash at any point between tasks. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks. Employee properly washed hands at handwash sink at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed PIC moving between taking money, using their phone, making juices, pouring drinks, and wiping down surfaces and equipment with a dry rag without stopping to change gloves. Gloves should be used for only one task, such as working with RTE food or with raw animal food, used for no other purpose and discarded when damaged, soiled, or when interruptions occur in the operation. Inspector's notes

Observed PIC using a dry cloth to continuously wipe down juice on tables, blenders and hands without replacing or keeping rags in approved sanitizing solution. All wet wiping cloths must be stored in sanitizer buckets with approved sanitizer concentrations. PIC was instructed to replace rags after each use or obtain sanitizer for storage of linens. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
