Observed at the back area of the establishment a metal ice scoop and plastic ice bucket being stored directly on top of the ice machine. PIC re-washed both items and placed them inside a clean dry container at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes

Observed employee wiped shirt on face, then handle trashcan then transitioning into handling pizza dough. Employee was stopped before touching pizza dough and rewashed his hands at time of inspection. Discussed the importance of proper hand washing and when hand washing is required with the person-in-charge (PIC). Hands must be washed at any time contamination occurs and when changing tasks. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
