Establishment currently undergoing remodel on kitchen and is not doing any food service prep in kitchen onsite. Establishment is currently getting pre-packaged lunches from district commissary kitchen and directly serving to students. Discussed with person in site that due to construction they will need to submit for a remodel permit. Person in charge stated they do not plan to open the kitchen until next year. Months of operation will be updated to reflect closure.Upon inspection, a remodel is taking place which may require an application and plans to be submitted, and/or additional permits. Person in charge stated they have removed all equipment to replace drywall and flooring throughout kitchen and will be placing all equipment back in place when remodel is finished. Spoke with Permit holder, due to damage to the school premise they do not plan to reopen in 2023. Permit holder stated no damage to kitchen only to school grounds. Will reach out to permit holder in early January to check on status on re-opening. Months of operation will be decreased to reflect current closure. Permit holder called and left voicemail in regards to time line.
