Inspector's notes

Observed hashbrowns in hot holding display near front of store with internal temperature of 81*F and were marked to be disposed at a time 3 hours prior to the inspection. Top shelf of the hot holding display where hashbrowns where stored appeared to be off and had an ambient temperature of about 90*F. Discussed equipment issue with the person in charge (PIC). PIC discarded the hashbrowns and called to have the equipment issue resolved. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
