Observed a large bowl of butter on the customer self service counter that was not protected by packaging, sneeze guards, a display case, or other effective means. All foods that are out for consumer self service must be protected from contamination. Discussed protection methods with manager. Establishment has started using prepackaged cups of butter to prevent contamination. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Throughout the back food prep/cook area and dishwashing area, observed several missing ceiling tiles, ceiling tiles that are damaged or warped, and light covers that are cracked. The facility must be kept in good repair. Please have ceiling repaired. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
