Discussed with the PIC if the fruit or vegetable is starting to go bad to discard the whole product and not to cut the good parts off. All food must be in good condition, safe, and unadulterated. The person in charge opened the packages and removed the fish from the package to continue thawing in the walk in cooler. Discussed with the person in charge keeping REDUCED OXYGEN PACKAGED (ROP) fish that bears a label that it is to be kept frozen until time of use in its ROP packaging in the thawed state.
