Observed a gap underneath the back door of the kitchen leading to the outside. Informed PIC that the door needs to be repaired so that there is no gap. Discussed the importance of preventing pests on the premises by protecting outer opening of the establishment. PIC put in a request for maintenance. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
