Inspector's notes

There was no hand soap at the hand sink near the employee restroom in the dry storage room. Person in charge (PIC) re-filled the soap at time of inspection. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. PIC provided soap for handwash sink at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes

Observed a container with first aid supplies, batteries, and light bulbs stored on a shelf above bulk food (salt, cornstarch, sugar, hot sauce). Discussed the contamination risk with person in charge (PIC). PIC moved the items at time of inspection. All first aid supplies must be stored away from food, utensils, and single service items to prevent contamination. All first aid supplies were relocated and properly stored by PIC at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection. 7-102.11 - Priority Foundation: Common Name-Working Containers Addl Notes: Observed a spray bottle with liquid in it hanging from the hand sink in the food-storage room. Employees and person in charge (PIC) were not sure what was in the container. PIC disposed of the liquid at time of inspection. All cleaners and chemicals need a label to reduce risk of chemical contamination. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed the mop sink faucet leaking when turned on. Also observed the cut hose (attached to faucet) coiled in the basin of the mop sink. Discussed possibly cutting the hose higher to 1-inch above the rim of the basin or to keep the hose lifted above the basin. Also discuss repairing the faucet. Must repair all plumbing to a state of good repair prior to next routine inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Observed a buildup of dust and debris on the vent covers above the clean dish/utensils rack, across from the ware wash machine. Discussed the risk of the buildup falling on the clean dishes. Person in charge (PIC) stated they will have the vent covers cleaned. Physical facility must be cleaned frequently enough to prevent accumulation of dirt, organic matter, and food debris. Must clean physical facility prior to next routine inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
