Observed some pink organic matter on the inside of one of the ice machines in the back area. Discussed with person in charge to clean the ice machine on a more frequent basis to mitigate buildup on the inside of the ice machine. Person in charge will have the ice machine thoroughly cleaned. All food-contact surfaces must be cleaned to sight and touch. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Inspector's notes
Observed a bottle of soda inside of an ice machine that is used to fill bagged ice. Person in charge removed the soda bottle from the ice and scooped out the ice that the soda was sitting in and disposed of it. Discussed with person in charge that ice that is used for consumption cannot be used as an exterior coolant. Ice used as an exterior coolant may not be used as an ingredient in any food/drinks. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
