Final construction inspection. Construction complete and approved for the Amazon Frozen and Cold food delivery at SAZ2.Permit that will be issued is a Retail Grocery permit as the company's delivery drivers will be transporting the food to the customers door.The company will be responsible for the cold holding of the food all the way to the delivery point. Foods will need to remain frozen or if non-frozen held at below 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below. If that is not possible you could apply for a variance to see if you could deviate from the requirement.Foods are transported by flex drivers who will transport the food in paper bag with a foil lining. Depending on the outside temperature frozen water bottles are added to the bags.Increased temperatures will require more water bottles. At delivery time the customer is notified that the delivery is made. The website states that it is recommended to be home within the delivery window or tp designate a other person to receive the food.This establishment/operation has been evaluated and qualifies for the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, meaning issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Note that fees paid up to this inspection approval did not include the annual operating permit fee. PAYMENT with a credit/debit card can be made via phone at 602-506-6824, Option 2. Payment with a credit/debit card can be made on-line via select “Pay a Fee” at esd.maricopa.gov. Please note that if you select payment via online, the annual operating permit fee invoice may take up to 7 business days to post online. Checks and money orders are also accepted via US Mail. Walk through with the superintendent. Walk-in units were installed and finished up. All the refrigerators and freezers are on site and are being prepped for use.Restrooms base tie will be adjusted and coved base created by means of a coved schluter.Floor control joints have been sealed and area fencing is about complete.Electrician is working on the power to the equipment.Once complete final inspection will be conducted. At final:1). Please make sure all refrigerators and freezers are on and holding at proper temperatures.2). The walk-in units are on and holding temperature.3). All lights work in the walk-in units - 10 Foot Candles of light is required throughout at 3 feet off the floor.No County legal action will result from this inspection.E-mailed report.

First walk through of the facility with project manager and superintendent. The following items were discussed:1). Restroom exhaust will have to be checked for the warehousing restroom block.2). Noted that the base tile is not set properly and should be set below grade to create a true cove. Coved floor / wall juncture is required in the restrooms.3). Low drinking fountains will need to be caulked at the top wall junctures. There are two.4). Remove the screws from under the FRP om the east wall of the restrooms.5). Re-caulk toilets where not caulked or caulk is cracking, multiple restroom stalls both restrooms.6). Provide tempered water (100 degrees Fahrenheit) in the warehouse restrooms.7). Provide a dedicated water line at the mop sink to feed the chemical dispenser.8). Remove the spray nozzle and Y splitter of the mop sink hose.9). Provide, or an air gap in the backflow housing of the chemical dispenser at the mop sink or install a spill proof pressure vacuum breaker on the new water line you are installing for the chemical dispenser. If you install the backflow valve then make sure it is installed 12 inches above the chemical dispenser as close to 5 feet from the floor as possible.10). Exchange the ceiling tiles in the mop closet over the corner with the mop sink, splash zone only.11). Control joints in the new warehousing area will be filled in and finishes out flush.12). All exterior opening will be checked for daylight and closed if not in compliance.13). No details given on the walk-in cooler yet, unit will need to have a coved floor / wall juncture and there should be sufficient lighting in the unit.Before final permitting, please contact your food vendor that operates out of your break room and make sure they obtain their permit. They are required to have a micro market permit.Next inspection should take place when the walk-in cooler is being set.No County legal action will result from this inspection.E-mailed report.
