Observed significant improvement with the cleaning and removal of rodent droppings. Observed persistence of some rodent droppings located behind furniture in dining rooms. In addition, observed multiple adult American cockroaches in the basement. Instructed the owner to have pest control services back for an additional treatment. Will follow up for a reinspection by Friday April 24th. *2nd consecutive violation

Inspector's notes
Observed the side door of the establishment that opens directly into the kitchen area with a significant gap at the bottom of the door. The establishment shall close all outer openings into the establishment to prevent the attraction and harborage of pests. Will follow up at reinspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection. 6-501.111 (C) - Priority Foundation: Controlling Pests; Approved Trapping Methods/Existence Addl Notes: Observed a significant accumulation of rodent droppings throughout the entire establishment. Observed droppings throughout the dining areas, perimeters of rooms, inside storage drawers, down in the basement.

6-202.15 - Core: Outer Openings, Protected Predefined Comment: Establishment must be maintained free of pests and all pest control measures must be conducted by a licensed pest control specialist. Must eliminate current pest control problem and obtain pest control from a certified and licensed pest control specialist by re-inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection. Reinspection will occur on Thursday, April 9th.

Observed significant accumulation of dirt, dust, grease, and other food debris throughout the dining area and kitchen. Notable areas include dining room floors and underneath dining chairs & tables, non-food contact surfaces of cooking equipment in the kitchen including ventilation hood, refrigeration units, and pizza ovens. The establishment shall deep clean the physical premises at a frequency to prevent the accumulation of dirt, dust, grease, and other food debris. Will follow up at reinspection.
