Observed display cooler containing milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, and whipped cream with ambient air temperature measuring 53°F. Internal temperature of milk measured 57°F. Manager was unsure how long unit has been above 41°F. Manager had items discarded at time of inspection and submitted a ticket. Discussed using other display cooler for TCS food item storage until non-working unit has been repaired, or replaced, and maintains an ambient air temperature of 41°F or below. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Inspector's notes
Observed trash on ground around dumpsters. Also observed lids to dumpsters open. Per manager, people will go through the trash and throw stuff on ground and people in community nearby will dump their trash. Discussed locking enclosure to help deter from unauthorized personnel entering area. Also discussed maintaining area clean and keeping lids closed to help prevent the attraction and harborage of pests. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
