Inspector's notes
Observed pipes directly connecting the handwashing sink and three-compartment sink into a floor drain. There is a cover on top of the floor drain making it a sealed connection. Proper repair is required. The establishment may use a funnel drain with an air gap or remove the cover from the floor drain and lift the pipe so that there is a proper air gap between the base of the pipe and the start of the floor drain. Also observed a y-valve attached to the mop sink. The establishment must remove the y-valve prior to reinspection. A reinspection on plumbing will occur in 30 days. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection.
