Observed no hand drying provision provided at the designated hand sink at time of inspection. PIC stated that they battery must have died, and has since been using linen towels to dry her hands. Explained the importance of maintaining an approved hand drying provision with PIC. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. PIC provided hand drying provision for handwash sink at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

PRIORITY VIOLATION-7-204.11, P: Sanitizers, Criteria-Chemicals Observed three compartment sink with sanitizer solution for sanitizing dishes. Bleach is used as the sanitizing agent. Tested sanitizer solution using bleach test strips and test strips indicated a concentration of at least 200 ppm (test strip indicated darkest color level which correlates with at least 200 ppm). Asked employee to empty sanitizer basin and refill with fresh water and adjust levels of bleach until sanitizer was tested again with test strips and concentration indicated chlorine ppm levels between 50-100 ppm. The discharge outlet for the water coming from the three compartment sink is sitting below ground level inside of the floor sink. When the water backs up, it had came into contact with the discharge outlet. Discharge outlet should be at least 1 inch above the floor level to prevent backflowing water from coming into contact with discharge outlet. Correct By: Correct Prior To Next Routine Inspection
