Observed a handwashing station located front of house by bar area being actively used as a dump sink. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing. PIC will ensure establishment discontinues use of handwash sink for all activities that are not for handwashing. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection

Observed two cans of tomato sauce with dents along the 3 can seams. Swollen, rusted and cans dented on any of the 3 can seams (top, bottom, side) or deep, sharp dents should be considered unsafe. PIC separated the damaged cans. A designated area will be used to store damaged cans until removal from the establishment. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Establishment is to cover the raw concrete with an approved surface or sealant to make the area non-absorbent, smooth, and easily cleanable. Discussed premises requirements with the manager. All floors, walls, and ceilings must be maintained and repaired such that it is smooth and easily cleanable. Repair physical facility prior to next routine inspection. Observed cheddar cheese slices in the prep table with blue organic matter on the corner. Alerted the cook who removed the cheddar cheese slices from the prep table at the time of inspection. Discussed the importance of visually inspecting foods throughout the day and when transferred into the prep table unit. Also discussed checking expiration dates and date-marking policies with staff.
