PIC stated it was for a personal favor for a friend's event and not for sale. Chili paste containers were missing ingredients table. PIC could not provide invoices as they stated items in question were ordered from Thailand and were not imported. Food was embargoed and PIC discarded items voluntarily at the time of inspection. Correct By: Corrected At Time Of Inspection
Core-3-602.11, C: Food Labels --- Observed multiple individual products [Burmese traditional medicine (Brand: Kyaw & Brothers), dried lime gastrointestinal medicine (Brand: Feel Bu) and dried plum snack (Brand: Sin Phyu Thaw)] on retail aisles listed for sale, missing food labels in English. Branding, name of product, Ingredients table and Manufacturer information only indicated in Burmese. PIC stated these items were imported through Indiana and provided invoices. (Food Labelling Basic Requirements: 1) Name of Product; 2) Processor Name; 3) Processor Address or Phone Number; 4) Ingredients; 5) Approximate Weight; 6) In English) Informed with PIC that imported goods has to meet these basic labeling requirements for sale.
