Spoke to owner, Phillip Q. via phone regarding the wholesale purchasing of meat to be sold at the establishment. It was determined that the meat was from an unapproved source. Upon learning this, owner agreed to discontinue the sale of the meat until further notice and will send an email confirmation to the inspector.Discussed alternative options, such as obtaining a processor permit at an approved facility and having an employee buy, produce, and transport the meet to the establishment. Alternatively, the owner could purchase the meat from an approved source and prepare at the establishment using approved equipment. Owner will reach out to inspector once a decision has been made.
