Inspector's notes

Observed a sign at the hand-washing sink stating that is was broken and not to use it. Pipe leading out of the drain of the sink is missing. PIC stated that the sink broke yesterday and will be fixed this weekend. Advised associates to use sink in the dish washing area until it can be repaired. A re-inspection will occur on 7/23/2026 to verify that the hand-washing sink was repaired and is working. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection. Handwash sinks must be supplied with hot water of at least 100°F, soap and an approved hand drying provision at all times. Facilities must be maintained in a condition that promotes handwashing.

Observed utensils holding in water with an internal temperature of 120 degrees F in a metal container next to the gelato cooler. Spoke with PIC and they moved them to a plastic cup without water. All in-use utensils were properly stored at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Per the person in charge, the milk products had been in the refrigerator since the day before. The establishment shall cold hold dairy products at a temperature of 41°F or below. The person in charge voluntarily discarded the dairy products. The reach in refrigerator measured 52.5°F with min/max thermometer. Establishment had sufficient refrigeration to continue operating.
