Observed the establishment to be selling paletas from El Chavo de La Michoacana, which is produced by Mercado Y Carniceria El Rancho. Neither establishment has a recorded permit to produce and sell the paletas wholesale. Discussed with PIC that all food must be obtained from an approved source as defined by law, including from permitted manufacturers. Paletas were put on a hold embargo until proof of permitting from the manufacturer is obtained. PIC stated that they would have the paletas removed by the manufacturer. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
