Final construction inspection for the Meat Market. Walk through with the Food Safety Director and Superintendent. Construction complete and approved.This establishment/operation has been evaluated and qualifies for the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, meaning issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Note that fees paid up to this inspection approval did not include the annual operating permit fee. PAYMENT with a credit/debit card can be made via phone at 602-506-6824, Option 2. Payment with a credit/debit card can be made on-line via select “Pay a Fee” at esd.maricopa.gov. Please note that if you select payment via online, the annual operating permit fee invoice may take up to 7 business days to post online. Checks and money orders are also accepted via US Mail. If you select payment via US Mail. For further instructions on mail in payments please refer to the printed invoice.Per MCEHC Chapter I, Regs 4 & 5, no person shall conduct an operation or operate an establishment for which a permit is required without holding the necessary and valid permit to do so. Pre-final inspection walk trough of the Meat Market. 1). Please silicone the gaps in the window frame and window frame to the ISP wall.2). In the coolers, where missing, install cam hole plugs.3). Caulk the holes in the ISP wall where hand wash sinks were replaced.4). After cleaning caulk all junction boxes in the meat cutting room at the wall junctures. 5). Provide a hand wash sink in the sea food prep room. The request to move one of the other hand sinks closer to that area was no implemented.6). Please make sure to install escutcheon plates on the walk-in unit condensate lines, in and outside. All lines.7). The soffit on the meat market service area will need to be painted and wood paneling caulked where standing open.8). Remove plastic sheeting from light fixtures in walk-in.No County legal action will result from this inspection.E-mailed reports to superintendent.

First inspection walk trough of the Meat Market. Finishes are in and store is about ready to set the sinks and finish up the plumbing. The following items were noted.1). In the meat cooler room 133, after floor is sealed and control joints filled silicone the base at the floor junctures.2). One cam hole plug is missing in this cooler.3). Where excessive foam is used, cut back and clean. Provide a smooth and easily cleanable surface.4). After cleaning caulk all junction boxes in the meat cutting room at the wall junctures. 5). Provide a hand wash sink in the sea food prep room. The request to move one of the other hand sinks closer to that area was no implemented.Hand wash sink must be within 20-25 feet from any work station and be conveniently located.6). Provide backflow protection for the following equipment pieces connected to the water supply. (608.16) 3i). Reduced Pressure Principle Backflow Valve (RP) or Spill Proof Pressure Vacuum Breaker installed 12 inches above the highest point downstream for the # 49 Sanitation Station, page P2.1. As shown in detail 2, P7.1.7). Please make sure to install an elbow on the meat cooler condensate line.No County legal action will result from this inspection.E-mailed reports to superintendent.
