Retail food establishment, class 2 Final construction inspection was conducted with the site superintendent, Albert Bussey. Construction is completed. Please address the following items prior to the routine inspection:1. Provide 3/8” radius cove base at walls and floor junctures inside the ware washing, ice machine, food storage room. Straight base tiles are not acceptable. Can use siliconized grout, butyl grout or epoxy grout to tool the 3/8” radius cove at the square corners.2. Do not store any merchandise under drink equipment or sinks.No County legal action will result from this inspection.Auto emailed the report to the owner and sent to superintendent.This establishment/operation has demonstrated sufficient compliance to proceed with the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Fees paid up to this inspection approval do not include the annual operating permit fee. PAYMENT with a credit/debit card can be made via phone at 602-506-6824, Option 2. Retail food, class 2Permit update. Stopped by to check on the status of the construction. RS 1218 had stopped by yesterday. Superintendent was not on site. Called superintendent to schedule the final construction with superintendent for 4/2/24.Manager and person in charge must be certified food protection managers (CFPM). CFPM must be at the site during all operational hours. Maintain all managers and food handlers’ certifications on site for inspection purpose. Ensure obtain all finals from the City before the Department’s final inspection can occur.Establishment must be cleaned before stocking, all equipment, small wares, soap dispenser, paper towels, thermometer, sanitizer, and sanitizer test strips must be installed and ready to be used prior to the inspection time. Equipment inspection conducted with Francisco F. At the time of this inspection, this project was about 80% complete. Inspection report emailed to Albert.Please address the following prior to next inspection:1. Provide a faucet that reaches all three sink compartments for 3-comp sink.2. Provide rigid drain line to the floor sink for the T&P relief drain to the floor sink (ensure to brace with uni-strut to maintain 1-inch air with floor sink.3. Provide a rigid drain line for the PEX tubing of the water filter relief drain (PEX to PVC).4. Seal the concrete of water heater stand (match the walk-in cooler floor).5. Provide a shelf above the 3-comp sink for dishes (unit has no drainboards).6. Provide unit strut for all drain line to maintain air gap with floor sinks (ice machine, water filter relief drain).7. Provide certified backflow test reports for all backflow preventers.8. Adjust the drain line under non-carbonated beverage dispensers so that it’s more centered to the floor sink (drain hits side of floor sink).9. Replace the zip ties holding drain lines under the cabinet areas with uni-struts or metallic bracing. 10. Brace the water lines so they are a minimum of 6-inches off the floor (under cabinets).11. Seal all gaps, cracks, and penetrations plumbing and electrical (walk-in cooler, under cabinets, mop sink basin, ice machine, . 12. Adjust the self-closer for delivery entrance and door sweep (no light shinning through).13. Provide escutcheon plates behind hand sink in female restroom.14. Ensure grout is flush with ceiling junctures and corners in restrooms.15. Noted the ceiling throughout the facility is black color acoustical ceiling tiles. The ones directly over the drink service island is white washable ceiling tiles. However, the soffit over the food service area is about a foot short from the edge of the counter. Replace the ceiling tiles adjacent to the soffit with light color washable ceiling tiles and at above the mop sink area.16. Finish installing equipment on food service island.17. Ensure all equipment is on and holding proper temperatures.18. Ensure all construction has ceased and final clean has been provided (including cabinets and under equipment).Please continue with construction according to plans, stipulation letter, and inspections. Construction is at 70% completion.Cannot access to the ware washing, mop sink, water heater area at this time.Please address the following items prior to the next inspection:1. Noted the ceiling throughout the facility is black color acoustical ceiling tiles. The ones directly over the drink service island is white washable ceiling tiles. However, the soffit over the food service area is about a foot short from the edge of the counter. Replace the ceiling tiles adjacent to the soffit with light color washable ceiling tiles.2. Provide a reduced pressure zone (RPZ) assembly (ASSE 1013) at the water connection point of the soda carbonator, RO system (if installed). Conduits and fittings after the RPZ must be stainless steel or PEX. Do not copper or brass alloys after the RPZ. Provide a drain cup for the vent port of the backflow device. Drainpipe must be rigid and indirectly discharge to the nearest floor sink with minimum 1” air gap from the finished floor.3. Provide a vented dual check valve (ASSE 1022) at the water connection point of the coffee/ tea brewer, coffee machine, juice machine, espresso machine.4. Provide a vented dual check valve (ASSE 1022) at the water connection point of each non-carbonated drink equipment. These are not testable devices, so replace them whenever they leak or annually; whichever comes first.3.
