Of note: Discussed with PIC that open, snap style rodent traps are not approved in food service establishments. Rodent bait stations must be enclosed and tamper resistant. // Per PIC, chemical box at mop faucet in laundry room is not in use, establishment uses different chemicals to mop floor and no longer works with chemical box company. Chemical box is equipped with a ASSE 1055B backflow prevention and the water supply for the chemical box is coming from a T-off of cold water supply line that services mop faucet. If establishment wants to use chemical box, an approved testable backflow prevention device (ASSE 1055A) would need to be installed upstream from box or a provided dedicated water supply line that solely services chemical box. PIC will work on having chemical box removed, covered, or otherwise noted so staff does not use it.This establishment received an A Grade and had 0 Priority, 0 Priority Foundation violations on this inspection. No County legal action will result from this inspection.Report emailed to PIC.On July 1st, 2023, the Environmental Services Department started emailing permit card(s) and permit invoice(s) to permittees.
