Following packaged foods found with improper date marking: guacamole, salsa de tatemada, salsa de arbol, salsa roja, salsa verde, pico de gallo, and nixtamal. TCS food is to be clearly marked to indicate the date or day the food shall be consumed on premises, sold, or discarded when held at a temperature of 41°F or less for a maximum of 7 days. After speaking with PIC, date marked foods found where mislabeled with preparation and end date being the same. Nixtamal (found without date markings) were provided with date marks at time of inspection.
