Observed tongs used to handle RTE hot dogs being stored at the self-service station in a cup holder, with visible grease and food debris on the food contact surfaces. Discussed cleaning frequency of food contact surfaces with PIC. All food-contact surfaces must be cleaned to sight and touch. All food-contact surfaces that contact TCS foods must be cleaned every 4 hours by washing, rinsing, and sanitizing. PIC relocated all food-contact surfaces to warewashing area to be washed, rinsed, and sanitized at the time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Discussed that when changing tasks or entering the kitchen, hands much be washed before applying new gloves. The employee was instructed to wash their hands before donning new gloves. No hand sink was observed within 25 feet. Advised PIC to add a hand sink to the room to aid is proper handwashing. Discussed that if additional handwashing violation are observed while scooping ice that a hand sink will be required. Correct By: Corrected At Time Of Inspection
