Confirmed with owner that the ice machine was used to create ice for the soda machine at the front of the store. Upon inspection of ice machine, observed dark green, slimy, organic like matter growing behind the back flap. When moving ice out of the way to get a better view, observed chunks of ice with organic like material attached to it. Instructed owner on how organic matter will build up regardless of the filtration used, as long as it has a damp cool place to grow. Owner stated they would drain and clean in place the ice machine within the next 24hrs and would stop stocking the ice machine in the front. Correct By: Correct Prior To Next Routine Inspection

Instructed the owner to raise the air gap to at least 1" above the floor drain. Owner stated they would get their plumber out as soon as possible.
