Observed chocolate encrusted rubber spatula above chocolate melting station next to soda machine. PIC mentioned spatula was cleaned once a week. Advised PIC that food contact surfaces must be cleaned at least every 24 hours. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
