Inspector's notes

Observed two air gaps at the three-compartment sink and soda machine drain lines with an airgap of less than 1". Provide minimum 1 in. airgaps between all drainpipes and the flood rims of the floor sinks they drain into, including the small line at the three-compartment sink drainpipe that currently and drain line at warewashing machine that extend into the floor sink. Reviewed requirements with PIC, correct prior to next routine inspection. // Observed a y-valve connected down stream from an AVB with water actively running into a chemical dispenser. Educated PIC that shut-offs, including chemical dispensers and sprayer nozzles, are not approved for continuous installation downstream from atmospheric vacuum breakers. PIC removed shut-off downstream from atmospheric vacuum breaker at time of inspection. Corrected at time of inspection.
