Observed establishment serving mixed drinks/shakes and waffles. Waffles and beverages can contain the following items stored in original packaging on site: high protein iced coffee, protein powder, NRG(guarana) tea, herbal tea concentrate (caffeine powder), relaxation tea powder, Meal drink(protein added), sport powders drinks(contain protein powders), beverage mix (Contain protein powder, Collagen drink and fibre drink mix, several products contain inulin. For Herbalife products not considered approved by the FDA as food additives the Department will require one of the following for review to confirm that the product may be used in conventional food: 1. GRAS Notice – will require confirmation that the product aligns with the intended use 2. CFR that confirms the product is GRAS – will require confirmation that the product aligns with the intended use 3. Self-affirmed GRAS/independent GRAS conclusion – will require supporting documentation Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.
