Person in charge states that goat meat is not for sale to the public and is only used for personal use. Inspector's notes
Observed walk in refrigerator in a state of disrepair and not able maintain an ambient temperature of 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below. Per person in charge it has not been working for a short time and it is not used for Temperature controlled foods. Establishment currently uses the freezer to store meat, cutting the meat they need and placing in the functioning display cooler. At time of inspection the refrigerator is only used to store smoked/dried fish products. Unit must be repaired as facility was approved with functioning Walk in refrigerator. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Construction completed.Inspection report emailed to Eric G.This establishment/operation has demonstrated sufficient compliance to proceed with the issuance of the permit. To complete the permitting process, issuance of this permit, and begin operation, the applicant must first submit payment of the annual operating permit fee to the Department’s Administrative Services. Fees paid up to this inspection approval do not include the annual operating permit fee. PAYMENT with a credit/debit card can be made via phone at 602-506-6824, Option 2. Per MCEHC Chapter I, Regs 4 & 5, no person shall conduct an operation or operate an establishment for which a permit is required without holding the necessary and valid permit to do so. Payment with a credit/debit card can be made on-line via select “Pay a Fee” at esd.maricopa.gov. Please note that if you select payment via online, the annual operating permit fee invoice may take up to 7 business days to post online. Also, checks and money orders are accepted via US Mail. If you select payment via US Mail, for further instructions please refer to the printed invoice. No operating permit is valid, until the permit fee is received by the Department. It is the responsibility of the permit holder/owner to notify MCESD if there are contact/ billing address changes.A certified food manager is required at time of approval. Plumbing inspection conducted with operator. At the time of this inspection, this project was about 60% complete.Inspection report emailed to Eric G.Please address the following prior to next inspection:1. Provide final green tag or paperwork approved by the building official as discussed (you will need to contact local municipality). 2. Ensure vent hood gaps are sealed with metal type silver colored silicone.3. Ensure all cooking equipment is 6-inches underneath the hood vent as discussed.4. Provide drain for the water heater T&P relief of the drain.5. Seal the bottom of the grease trap juncture with the floor (check with local municipality for sizing and installation).6. Provide splashguard between prep sink and 3-compartment sink and seal.7. Provide a HUB drain for the prep sink (must have air gap) and secure the drain line using uni-strut.8. Provide a rigid drain line for the front counter display coolers. Ensure to route the drain to the floor sink.9. Provide uni-strut for the drain lines to ensure air gap is maintained with the floor sink.10. Provide drain stoppers for the 3-compartment sink.11. Replace or repair the backdoor sweep so no light shines through. 12. Seal all gaps, cracks, and penetrations (electrical and plumbing).Please continue with construction according to plans, stipulation letter, and inspections. Please call (602) 506-6824 for an equipment/construction inspection between 80 - 90% completion of project or if an additional onsite walk-through is needed.
