Informed PIC that this piece of equipment needs to be cleaned and continue to be cleaned frequently enough to preclude the accumulation of residues. Inspector's notes

Observed a spray bottle labeled 'sanitizer' with a chlorine concentration of 200ppm or more. Informed PIC that the chlorine concentration needs to be between 50-100ppm or used per manufacturer's label. PIC diluted the sanitizer to proper levels (50-100 ppm) at time of inspection. PIC stated that they were not the one to make the sanitizer. Reviewed with PIC proper concentration levels, how to measure using test strips, and why using the proper concentration is important. Discussed approved use of sanitizers with the person-in-charge (PIC). Sanitizer must be used at concentrations and in an approved manner per manufacturer instructions, 40 CFR 180.940, and 40 CFR 180.2020. Sanitizer was diluted by PIC to approved levels at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
