Nonfood-contact surfaces shall be kept free of an accumulation of dust, dirt, food residue, and other debris. Nonfood-contact surfaces shall be cleaned at a frequency necessary to preclude accumulation of soil residues. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection

Observed all-purpose cleaner being used as sanitizer in the three-compartment sink. No sanitizer was on premises—alerted manager who picked up chlorine to sanitize with, at time of inspection. The sanitizer basin was remade and dosed correctly. Discussed the importance of using the correct chemicals for the proper tasks. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
