Inspector's notes
Observed an ambient air temp of 46 in the open display cooler near the soda fountain. Inside the cooler, observed TCS foods holding between 50-54*F when measured with a probe thermometer, including; yogurt cups, yogurt drinks, lunchables, hummus cups, and salami wrapped provolone sticks. Per PIC, all foods had been in the cooler longer than 4 hours and no temperatures had been recorded. All TCS foods improperly cold held were discarded by PIC at time of inspection. Except during preparation, cooking, cooling or when time is used as a control all TCS foods must be maintained at 41°F or below. Eggs not treated to destroy Salmonellae can be stored in equipment that maintains an ambient air temperature of 45°F or below. PIC stated new TCS foods will be placed in other units until the cooler can be repaired. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed window cleaner stored above bags of chips and next to ground corn masa next to the front hand sink. Observed cleaner stored above bottles of beer next to the beer cooler. Chemicals must be stored away from food, utensils, and single service items at all times to prevent contamination. All chemicals were relocated and properly stored by PIC at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

PRIORITY VIOLATION-7-206.11, P: Restricted Use Pesticides, Criteria ------ Observed granular ant killer pesticide applied surrounding the back door of the establishment. Advised PIC all pesticides must be applied by a licensed pest control applicator. Discussed that pesticides may unintentionally contaminate other areas of the establishment including food prep surfaces. PIC removed pesticides at the time of inspection.
