Inspector's notes

Observed a can of Raid spray in the employee bathroom. Informed PIC that food establishments may not apply their own pest control and cannot store pest chemicals onsite, except for retail sale. PIC removed the can from the premises at time of inspection. All pest control for the establishment must be performed by a certified pest control specialist and chemicals for pest control must not be stored onsite. PIC removed pest control chemicals from premises at time of inspection. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Observed the establishment using bleach for sanitizing food contact surfaces with on chlorine test strips onsite. Informed PIC that chlorine test strips are needed to measure the sanitizer concentration used on food contact surfaces. Obtain test strips prior to reinspection. Test strips are required for any sanitizers used with food contact surfaces. Provide sanitizer test strips prior to re-inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to re-inspection on 5/8/2025.
