Inspector's notes

Observed several sanitizer buckets that were testing below the 150 ppm - 400 ppm threshold for quat based sanitizer used at the establishment. In discussion with the person in charge, there is an issue with the water pressure at the sanitizer dispenser that has a work order put in for it. However, the sanitizer dispenser is not dispensing at the appropriate concentration, and the sanitizer has to be manually adjusted. Discussed with person in charge to train other employees on how to prepare and test the sanitizer solution. The sanitizer was manually adjusted and after testing with the sanitizer testing strips the sanitizer was within the appropriate range of 150-400 ppm. Discussed the importance of proper sanitizer levels and proper monitoring of sanitizer levels. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.
