Observed a bottle of wine stored directly inside the main ice bin at the front of house bar. The ice in this bin is actively being used as an ingredient for consumer beverages. Ice used as an exterior coolant may not be used as an ingredient in any food/drinks. PIC was instructed to remove the bottle from the ice. The ice bin was then washed, rinsed, and sanitized before being refilled with fresh ice for consumer drinks. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

This establishment/operation has demonstrated sufficient compliance to proceed with the permit issuance. Per MCEHC Chapter I, Regs 4 & 5, no person shall conduct an operation or operate an establishment for which a permit is required without holding the necessary and valid permit to do so.
