Inspector's notes

Observed two cleaning brushes in hand sink. Discussed the importance of using hand sinks only for washing hands and nothing else to prevent contamination. Person in charge (PIC) removed brushes at time of inspection. PIC will ensure establishment discontinues use of handwash sink for all activities that are not for handwashing. Corrective Action: Corrected at time of inspection.

Priority Foundation-5-103.11, Pf: Capacity-Quantity and Availability No hot water in back part of store (bakery & meat department) at time of inspection (maximum water temperature at all sinks was 74 degrees). Person in charge was aware of the issue and stated that the hot water stopped working earlier in the day. A technician was scheduled to service the water heater the later same day. Minimum requirements for hot water are 100 degrees at hand wash sinks and 110 degrees at 3-compartment sinks. This violation requires correction within 24 hours.
