Inspector's notes

Observed cracking and missing laminate in the middle of the produce walk-in. Raw concrete aggregate was exposed and was holding water. The grocery manager instructed a staff member to clean and dry the area and put in a work order in on the floor. Physical facility must be maintained in good repair at all times. Repair physical facility prior to next routine inspection. Corrective Action: Correct prior to next routine inspection.

Core-6-501.11, C: Repairing-Premises, Structures, Attachments, and Fixtures-Methods Observed exposed raw, porous, and heavily worn concrete aggregate in the middle of the back storage produce cooler, where the laminate has peeled off of the floor. The store manager has already put in for a repair on the floor. Proper repair is required. Do not use unapproved methods. Establishment is to cover the raw concrete with an approved surface or sealant to make the area non-absorbent, smooth, and easily cleanable. Discussed premises requirements with the manager. Also observed a broken door seal on the back storage dairy cooler. The door has been heavily worn and is bent and damaged in spots. Establishment to replace the door seal and ensure the integrity of the cooler door. Replacement may be needed. Correct By: Correct Prior To Next Routine Inspection
